A good traveler has no fixed plans
and is not intent upon arriving.
A good artist lets his intuition
lead him wherever it wants.
A good scientist has freed himself of concepts
and keeps his mind open to what is.
Thus the Master is available to all people
and doesn’t reject anyone.
He is ready to use all situations
and doesn’t waste anything.
This is called embodying the light. Continue reading “Tao Te Ching – Verse 27 – A good traveler has no fixed plans and is not intent upon arriving”
Nothing is working. Work on your inner development and start from there rather than try to fix anything all at once. This moment of stagnation will pass.

“Meditation on breath is a meditation on life. It is very simple. This sound in you is an infinite sound and so long as this sound of inhale and exhale continues, you are alive. They call it Anhat, ultimate mantra. If you don’t chant this mantra, you cannot chant any others either. You have to chant this mantra in every religion before every God. Any moment that you cannot chant this mantra, you cannot exist. Do it gracefully, rhythmically, and musically. It is known as pranayam, and it is very essential.” Yogi Bhajan
The heavy is the root of the light.
The unmoved is the source of all movement.
Thus the Master travels all day
without leaving home.
However splendid the views,
she stays serenely in herself.
Why should the lord of the country
flit about like a fool?
If you let yourself be blown to and fro,
you lose touch with your root.
If you let restlessness move you,
you lose touch with who you are.

In this and every moment, let go of everything you think you know. Be still as you witness the world and the cosmos unfolding. Engage. You are the healer.
Stay tuned.

“When you lose your elevation and have no habit to listen to your consciousness, then it seems like you have no choice. You do not understand it because your mind is doing this to you. Your mind is not supposed to do anything to you. Your mind is supposed to do things for you. Now you are caught in the game of mind and ego. Between the two you can be stretched until nothing is left.” Yogi Bhajan

There was something formless and perfect
before the universe was born.
It is serene. Empty.
Solitary. Unchanging.
Infinite. Eternally present.
It is the mother of the universe.
For lack of a better name,
I call it the Tao.
It flows through all things,
inside and outside, and returns
to the origin of all things. Continue reading “Tao Te Ching – Verse 25 – There was something formless and perfect before the universe was born.”

“Our creativity will be our sensory system. And through this sensory system we will be overflowing with energy, touching the hearts of people, and feeling their feeling, and filling their emptiness. We will act great and our flow will fulfill the gratefulness in the hearts of others. It will be a new relationship. We will create a new humanity which will have the new sensory system, and thus we will establish the Age of Aquarius. This is the fundamental character you have to learn by heart.” Yogi Bhajan
He who stands on tiptoe
doesn’t stand firm.
He who rushes ahead
doesn’t go far.
He who tries to shine
dims his own light.
He who defines himself
can’t know who he really is.

“Start thinking right and you will become right. And that thinking about how much right I am or how much wrong decides how near or far you are from God. If you feel you are wrong, you also feel you are away from God. If you feel right, then you also feel very near to God. There is no distance between you and God; it is your thinking that puts you at a distance.” Yogi Bhajan
Express yourself completely,
then keep quiet.
Be like the forces of nature:
when it blows, there is only wind;
when it rains, there is only rain;
when the clouds pass, the sun shines through.
